
Women's basketball team hits road for conference game Wednesday
The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team goes for their 20th win of the season when they travel to Gainesville for a conference game on Wednesday evening.
The No. 21 ranked Titans will face Santa Fe College for the third time this season Wednesday evening at 5 p.m. in a Citrus Conference game. Eastern Florida State College comes into the contest 19-6 overall and 11-3 in the conference.
The Titans are averaging 73.4 points this season and have won the first two meetings of the season, averaging 83 points in the first two games.
Sophomore E'Zaria Adams is averaging 13.3 points per game in conference games this season and is averaging 15 points in the first two meetings against Santa Fe. Teammate Karen Nimo is averaging 11 points per game this season off the bench and is averaging 16 points per game against Santa Fe. Nimo had 20 points in the last meeting.
Santa Fe comes into the game looking for a win as they have lost nine games in a row. Micah Hannah has scored in double figures in each of the past four games and is coming off a 21-point performance against Daytona State College on Saturday.
Wednesday's game begins at 5 p.m. at Santa Fe and will be streamed live online at the Saints Sports Network on the Santa Fe athletics Web site.
