Women's basketball team home for first time Tuesday night

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will be at Titan Field House for the first time this season Tuesday evening.

The Titans, who are 6-1 on the season, will host DME at 5:30 p.m. on the Melbourne campus.

Freshman Karen Nimo comes into the home opener averaging 14.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game for the Titans while teammate Lynn Rieth is averaging 12 points a game.

The Titans defeated DME in the first meeting 66-47 on the road in early November as three players scored in double figures.

Admission is free to games at Titan Field House and the men's basketball team will take the court following the women.
