
Women's basketball team home Wednesday for conference game
The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will be back at Titan Field House Wednesday night for a Citrus Conference game.
The Titans, who are ranked 21st in the latest NJCAA Division I national poll, will host Hillsborough Community College at 5:30 p.m. and admission to Wednesday's game is free.
Both teams come into the contest on winning streaks as the Titans have won four straight while the Hawks are on a three-game win streak.
Hillsborough Community College is coming off a 101-point win against Daytona State College and is led by the third-leading scorer in the FCSAA, Maisel Reyes. Reyes comes into the matchup averaging 18.9 points per game this season and had 20 against Daytona State College on Saturday. Teammate Jasmine Bocca had 20 points in the first meeting which the Titans won. Freshman guard Danika Ballard has scored 11 points in each of the past two games for the Hawks.
Eastern Florida State College comes into the matchup 9-2 in the conference and is led by a trio of players averaging 11 points per game. E'Zaria Adams, Jalei O'Neal and Karen Nimo are all scoring 11 points per game this season.
