Men's golf team to tee off Monday in Alabama
The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team will be back in action Monday morning in Brewton, Alabama.
The Titans, who are ranked 15th in the latest NJCAA Division I national rankings, will compete in the Coastal Alabama North Spring Invitational at the CC of Brewton. Eastern Florida State College will be one of 14 teams competing in the tournament including sixth-ranked Central Alabama Community College as well as Wallace State, Calhoun Community College, Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, Shelton State and Enterprise State who are all ranked in the top 26 in the national poll.
Eastern Florida State College opened the spring season with a second-place finish at the Titan Invitational as Danny Byers tied for fourth in his first tournament as a Titan.
The tournament will begin Monday with the final round scheduled for Tuesday. The Titans will tee off beginning with Hugo Griesheimer teeing off at 12:20 p.m. Horace Pennix, Micke Laurelli, Masen McKain and Byers will tee off Monday with the Titans.
