
Volleyball team goes 2-2 at the FSW Battle at the Beach Tournament
The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team wrapped up the FSW Battle at the Beach Tournament 2-2 for the weekend.
The Titans, who lost to Missouri State University-West Plains in three sets, defeated No. 4 Salt Lake Community College earlier in the day on Saturday.
Eastern Florida State College fell 23-25, 14-25 and 14-25 to Missouri State University-West Plains. In the first set the Titans took a five-point lead on a Lesmary Raffucci kill. But MSU-West Plains went on a run to tie the match 19-19 and took a 23-20 lead before the Titans came back to tie it 23-23. But MSU-West Plains would score the next two points to take the first set.
From there Missouri State-West Plains dominated the match, winning the next two 25-14, 25-14.
Raffucci finished with 11 kills with 10 digs while Dominae Jordan had nine kills and seven digs. Sarah Henault had 10 digs in the match.
The Titans will travel to St. Petersburg College for a 6 p.m. match on Tuesday.
