Women's golf team ties for fourth at Space Coast Collegiate Championships
The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team finished tied for fourth overall at the Space Coast Collegiate Championships held at Duran Golf Club in Viera.
The Titans shot a 308 in the final round to finish the three rounds at 919, tied with Seminole State College and Montevallo.
Nova Southeastern won the title shooting a 290 in the final round and finished the tournament 4-over. Lynn University was second and the University of Tampa placed third.
Mila Tang finished sixth overall, shooting a 74 in the final round.
Sophomore Jenna Barnett finished tied for 11th overall, finishing with a 75 on Tuesday.
Ann Burel shot a 76 and finished tied for 22nd while Brittany Odic shot an 83 and Emma Parker had an 86. Cayden Challacombe had an 88 as an individual.
Nova Southeastern's Haruka Muta shot a 69 in the final round and won the tournament, shooting 4-under 212 in the three rounds. Teammate Maria Torres Lobato finished second.
University of Tampa's Maxime Holletschek hit a hole-in-one Tuesday on No. 4.
Eastern Florida State College will compete in the Oldfield Invitational March 17-18.
