Men's golf team in second place at the Glenlakes Invitational
The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team is in second place after two rounds of the Glenlakes Invitational at the Glenlakes Golf Club in Foley, Alabama.
The Titans shot 289 in the morning session and then a 286 in the afternoon to head into the final round at 1-under 575. Central Alabama Community College shot a 279 in the afternoon and leads by eight strokes.
Brandon Boncore shot a 70 in the second round and is in fourth place overall at 2-under 142. Teammates Drew Lanier and Matt Gauntlett are even par after two rounds at 144 while Murphy Allard is tied for 15th at 3-over and John Houchin is tied for 17th overall.
"We are playing OK, still making some unforced errors and not capitalizing on opportunities," Eastern Florida State College men's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "It will take cleaner play tomorrow to give Central Alabama a run."
The Titans will tee off in the final round on Tuesday morning.
