Women's basketball team travels to FSC-Jacksonville for conference game Saturday
The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will travel to Jacksonville Saturday for a Central Conference game against the Florida State College at Jacksonville.
The Titans are ranked No. 3 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll and come into Saturday's game 19-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference. Eastern Florida State College has won three games in a row and 16 straight conference games.
The Florida State College at Jacksonville is led by M'Kayla Patterson who is averaging 12.3 points per game while teammates Ameera Thomas and Avery Cannon have been playing better in conference games, both averaging 11 points per game in the conference. Jaiden Ross is averaging 10 points per game in the conference.
Eastern Florida State College's L'or Eyeba Mputu is averaging 12.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while Shadaria Smith is averaging 11.4 points. Isimenme Ozzy-Momodu is coming off a 13 point and 12 rebound game in the win against St. Petersburg College. On the season Momodu is averaging 9.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.
