The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team lost to North Dakota SCS in the first round of the NJCAA Division I National Tournament Tuesday night in Casper, Wyoming.
The Titans, who came in as the No. 10 seed, could not find their shooting touch, losing 54-46.
Both teams got off to a slow start and a Jaidyn Koerdt jumper gave the Titans one of their only leads, 10-7 with one minute, 48 seconds left in the first quarter. North Dakota SCS would tie the game 10-10 and head to the second quarter tied.
The Wildcats would lead throughout the second quarter and led by three points at halftime.
The Titans would get down by double digits in the third quarter as the Titans would manage just two points in the quarter.
Down 15 heading into the fourth quarter, the Titans began pressing and quickly cut the lead to eight on a Rosa Redondo Sorribes basket with 5:50 left.
But the team remained cold, shooting just 32 percent from the floor and 20 percent from the 3-point line.
Koerdt led the team with 12 points while Amelia Hassett had eight points and 13 rebounds and Kristiana Kulackovska finished with seven points and six rebounds.
Eastern Florida State College finished the season 27-5.
