The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team lost in the final of the NJCAA Southeast District Final on Saturday evening at Orlando Health Stadium.
The Titans, who finished the season 9-7, lost to Daytona State College 4-0.
The Falcons got on the board first with 22 minutes and 41 seconds left in the first half as Alyse Then found the ball in the middle of the box and finished to make it 1-0.
Two minutes later it would be 2-0 on a nice shot by Jimena Castro. It would remain 2-0 for the rest of the first half.
Shaneil Buckley took over in the second half, scoring twice to finish the day with two goals and an assist.
Daytona State College won the Southeast District title for the first time and will advance to the NJCAA Division I National Tournament Nov. 17-23 in Wichita, Kansas.
