Women's soccer team shuts out Miami Dade for conference win

The Eastern Florida State College scored two late goals to defeat Miami Dade College in a conference game Friday night at Orlando Health Stadium.
The 17th ranked Titans improved to 4-1 in the conference with the 2-0 victory and is tied with Daytona State College for the top spot in the standings.
Pheobe Wilson and Lili Baidoe each had chances to put the Titans on the board earlier in the game as Wilson took a free kick from outside the box in the first half and hit a nice ball to Baidoe whose header bounces off the cross bar.
Then 13 minutes into the second half, Wilson hit a free kick that bounced off the cross bar and came down in front of the Miami Dade goalkeeper who was able to clear the ball.
With 11:41 left in the match Wilson had a free kick and struck a great ball that went over the keeper and into the back of the net. It was Wilson's third goal of the season.
Then with 2:10 left Eastern Florida State College put the game away as Kanon Tai made a nice pass up the middle that Baidoe ran down and shipped over the keeper and in to make it 2-0.
It was Baidoe's 11 goal of the season.
Eastern Florida State College will host Daytona State College on Monday night with the regular season conference title on the line. Both teams come into the game 4-1 in the conference. In the first meeting, the Titans beats the Falcons 2-0 on the road.
