Softball team moves up to No. 18 in national poll
The Eastern Florida State College softball team has moved up to No. 18 in the latest NJCAA Division I National Poll released on Monday.
The Titans are 33-15 overall and have been ranked in the poll for seven straight weeks. They will play No. 7 Seminole State College on Tuesday evening at Titan Softball Complex.
Florida Southwestern State College falls to No. 2 in the national rankings with Indian River State College is third and Northwest Florida State College is fourth in the poll.
Miami Dade College is No. 8 in the poll giving the FCSAA five teams in the top 10.
Daytona State College is 12th in the poll with Santa Fe College ranked 19th and Chipola College is No. 21.
Tuesday's conference doubleheader will begin at 4 p.m. at Titan Softball Complex on the Melbourne campus. Admission is free and fans can watch the games live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
