The Eastern Florida State College softball team dropped a pair of Citrus Conference games on the road Tuesday afternoon.
The No. 18 Titans fell to No. 9 Seminole State College 6-2, 14-9 in Sanford and are now 21-9 overall and 6-6 in the conference.
In the first game, down 3-0 the Titans got on the board in the fifth inning as Ashley Grieser singled and scored on a Aracelis Jimenez single. Jimenez would drive in the Titans second run in the seventh as her single scored Kayla Fanning.
In Game 2 the Titans were leading but Seminole State stormed back to pick up the sweep.
Madison Velazquez hit her first collegiate home run and had two hits in the game while Avery Velazquez went 3-for-5 with an RBI double. Jessica Merk also had two hits and a couple of RBI in the game.
The Titans will be back at Titan Softball Complex on Saturday against Hillsborough Community College for a conference doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
