The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team lost a tight game to South Georgia State College Friday at the Bobcat Classic.
The 10th ranked Titans rallied back from a 12-point deficit in the second half to tie the game, but South Georgia State College hung on for the 69-65 victory.
Down 49-37 with 11 minutes left the Titans went on a 9-0 run as Joviel Acevedo-Arroyo hit a 3-pointer to make it 49-46. Felipe Patino would later hit a 3-pointer to tie things 57-57 with 3:40 left in the contest. From there, it remained close but in the final minute South Georgia State College hit a couple of big shots to win the game.
Eastern Florida State College will play the hosts East Georgia State at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
