Men's cross country team places 16th in NJCAA Half Marathon
The Eastern Florida State College men's cross country team placed 16th at the NJCAA Half Marathon Championships Tuesday morning in Virginia.
The Titans were led by freshman Morgan Vici who finished his first season with a 71st-place showing in his first half marathon, finishing in one hour 16 minutes and 17 seconds. Teammate Miguel Perez-Santiz finiahed a minute behind him, placing 80th in 1:17:17.8.
Joey Coyle crossed the finish line at 1:17:45.5 while Joshua Torres finished in 1:18:01.9 and Nick Hernandez ran a 1:20:04.7. Noah McCann finished in 1:20:19.7 and Colin McAdams crossed in 1:22:15.4.
Iowa Western won the title with Salt Lake finishing second. Iowa Western's Barnabas Ndiwa won the individual title in 1:03:47.1.
