
Softball team ranked 20th in national poll
The Eastern Florida State College softball team is back in the NJCAA Division I national poll as they open conference play Tuesday afternoon.
The Titans, who are 15-3, are ranked 20th in the national poll heading into a Citrus Conference doubleheader Tuesday against No. 7 ranked Miami Dade College at Titan Softball Complex.
The top three teams are all from the state of Florida as Indian River State College is ranked No. 1 with Florida Southwestern State College second and Northwest Florida State College is No. 3.
Seminole State College is No. 10 in the poll with Daytona State College coming in at No. 13 with the College of Central Florida ranked 19th in the nation. Chipola College comes in at No. 25 making it nine teams from the state.
Tuesday's doubleheader begins at 4 p.m. at Titan Softball Complex and admission is free to games on the Melbourne campus. You can also watch the game live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
