Women's tennis team falls to Howard University

The Eastern Florida State College women's tennis team fell to Howard University on Sunday morning at Titan Tennis Center.

The women's team is now 1-2 after the 7-0 loss on Sunday.

The doubles matches were all close as the team of Laura Yans and Elena Martinez Prado lost 7-5 while Thais Mitlmeier and Maria Gento fell 6-4 as did Leticia Orlandov and Nayara Alvarez Martin at No. 3 doubles.

All six singles matches were won by Howard University in straight sets.

Eastern Florida State College will be back at home against Northern Kentucky Wednesday, March 12 for a 10:30 a.m. match.
