Men's soccer team hits road for key conference game tonight

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will wrap up the conference season with a key matchup with Daytona State College on the road Tuesday night.

The eighth-ranked Titans will travel to No. 12 Daytona State College for a game with playoff implications beginning at 7 p.m. at Daytona State College Soccer Stadium.

In the first meeting between the two teams at Orlando Health Stadium, the two teams tied 1-1 as they each scored in the latter part of the second half.

Eastern Florida State College comes into the matchup 0-2-1 in the conference while the Falcons are 0-0-2 with Daytona State College still scheduled to play first-place Miami Dade College next week.

Sophomore Mukisa Emmanuel has scored eight goals for the Titans while Daytona State College's Josue Youta and Hector Moreno each coming in with seven goals. Moreno scored in the 1-1 tie earlier this season.

Admission to Tuesday's game is free to fans who bring relief items to the games to donate. Fans are asked to bring non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies and toiletries which will be donated to local relief efforts.
