Men's basketball team travels to Daytona State Saturday for conference game

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will hit the road Saturday for a Central Conference game against Daytona State College.

The Titans topped Santa Fe in overtime on Wednesday night to improve to 1-1 in the conference and head into Saturday 11-6 overall. Brody Boyer hit his third game-winner of the season on Wednesday night and comes into Saturday's game averaging 11.2 points per game.

Teammate Derrick Butler had 12 points in his return on Wednesday night and is averaging 13.1 points per game this season while Roberts Berze is averaging 11.8 points per game.  

Daytona State College heads into Saturday's game in need of a win in the conference, getting off to an 0-2 start. The Falcons, who are 8-9 overall, have two of the top scorers in Region 8 as Reggie Quesada is averaging 19.8 points per game and teammate Johan Crafoord is scoring 18.3 points per game. Ky Stattmann is also having a good season and comes into Saturday's game averaging 18.1 points per game.
