Men's basketball team loses at St. Petersburg

The Eastern Florida State College lost its second straight game on the road, falling at St. Petersburg Wednesday night in a Central Conference matchup.

The Titans fell to 9-2 in the conference with the 66-59 loss.

Eastern Florida State College held a 30-25 lead at halftime, but St. Petersburg came out shooting in the second half, hitting 7-of-10 3-pointers to pull out the win.

St. Petersburg has won five games in a row and are now 7-6 in the conference.

Eastern Florida State College was led by Christyon Eugene who finished with 21 points while Robert Berze had a season-high 11 points in the loss.

Eastern Florida State College will travel to Santa Fe on Saturday for a 4:30 p.m. conference matchup.
