Titan Field House

Melbourne Campus, Building 6

Opened in 1975 it is home to the volleyball as well as the men’s and women’s basketball teams. The gymnasium includes a wood floor playing surface, seating for about 1,500, locker rooms, athletic training and rehabilitation rooms, athletic offices, athlete study area, weight/fitness room, restrooms and a concession area

Bruce Bochy Field

 

Melbourne Campus - Southeast corner

Opened in 1974 it has been renovated through the years and includes lights, a crushed brick warning track, refurbished home dugout, a concession area, restrooms, bleachers and press box. The field was named for Brevard Community College (now Eastern Florida State College) alumnus and former All-America baseball player Bruce Bochy in 2011. Bochy is a two-time World Series champion manager of the San Francisco Giants. Bochy was instrumental in funding the field’s 1,200-square foot clubhouse complete with offices, showers and Major League quality lockers.

Melbourne Campus - East Side

Opened for 2013 season it is home to the men’s and women’s soccer teams. It includes lighted FIFA regulation size 120- by 75-yard Bermuda grass playing surface that sits atop a state of the art drainage system; 1,000-seat permanent, handicap accessible bleachers; air-conditioned press box; adjacent FIFA regulation size practice field; adjacent locker room and concession building. The complex hosts the NJCAA Women’s Division I National Championship Tournament through 2016 and Major League Soccer teams train at the facility in the preseason. It also hosted the 2014 Florida High School Athletic Association state girls and boys semifinals and championships.

Opened in 1981, the range comprises 13 acres in west Cocoa. The facility includes: a public tee 100 yards long  X  12 yards wide; a 6,500-square-foot putting green; two shortgame areas with a practice bunker; A full size classroom for college students and a team room for members of the EFSC golf team.

The golf academy was named for Fred Gay in 2008, the former owner of “Fred Gay’s Quality Buick, GMC Pontiac” in Cocoa. Mr. Gay was a longtime supporter of the College's athletic programs.

The Academy Driving Range hosts a year round “Junior Hour” every Saturday at noon, free of charge and open to all area youth.

Softball Complex

The softball complex was finished in time for the 2016-17 season and is located on the college's Melbourne campus. The facility features dugouts, locker room, athletic offices, restrooms and concession area.

Titan Tennis Center

Melbourne Campus - north of soccer complex

Opened in 2015 the tennis center features eight lighted, hard court surfaces and is the home of the Titan men's and women's tennis teams. The Center is also open to EFSC students, faculty and staff for free use, with memberships and daily-use fees available for EFSC alumni and the general public. The complex is on the northeast side of the campus, located at 3865 North Wickham Road. Click for information on tennis court access.
